Fans of Athletics, Friends of Zagreb Grand Prix, Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to welcome you as the new Meeting Manager. I hope that my sports career so far will help me justify the trust placed in me. I wish to freshen up and further the organization of the Meeting by introducing some novelties, which I believe will help our „Hanžek“, as we locally call the Meeting, establish itself as one of the best international athletics events not only in Croatia, but in the whole region, as well. My wish is also that Croatian athletes leave a significant mark on that spectacular evening of athletics, of which both the City of Zagreb and its sports are proud.

This is why I would like to take this opportunity to thank, before all, the City of Zagreb and its Mayor, Mr. Milan Bandić, for the overall support in the preparation and organization of the Meeting, as well as the Zagreb Holding and its branches, the Zagreb Sports Association and the Zagreb Athletics Association.

I hope to see you at the Mladost stadium on 31 August, where we shall all enjoy a top athletics spectacle and great atmosphere.
